The Breasties Story
Dr. John Davis and Alba Martinez are the compassionate team behind a breast surgery practice in Gilbert, Arizona. After years of seeing their patients come in with a variety of post-surgical bras and seeing the challenges that came with each one of them, they determined to create a bra that combined the best aspects of all of them—comfort, affordability, and simplicity.
They had noticed a recurring challenge with their patients after surgery: the standard bras required for patients after breast surgery were causing chaffing, rashes, and general discomfort. Knowing that patients who feel cared for and supported recover faster and more completely, they knew they had to do something.
Alba and Dr. Davis did extensive research and delved into the intricacies of clothing design and textile engineering. Having grown up in inner city Chicago, Dr. Davis was committed to not only creating a beautiful and comfortable design, but he wanted to ensure it was affordable for everyone.
The result was the Breastie Care Original—crafted from breathable fabrics and meticulously engineered to provide optimal support without sacrificing comfort, Breasties Care quickly became synonymous with innovation and compassion.
